Please do not remove that three, the root will be shocked and it will take longer for it to get the nutrient it needs. Any fruit trees you grow, dont expect to have fruits right away. I grew the white type long time ago because I did not know any better. I love the yellow type, because ít's so sweet.
The yellow type is rare, have not seen it at the nursery. In HOUSTON tropical plants are much more reasonable
